Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was not best pleased when George Knight (Colin Salmon) and his family rocked up on her doorstep in EastEnders with the news that they were moving in.
In fact, it’s safe to say that she was furious.
She wasn’t the only one, as the Knight sisters, Anna and Gina (Molly Rainford and Francesca Henry), upset locals with their party plans so soon after Lola Pearce’s (Danielle Harold) tragic death.
In upcoming episodes, Linda will try her best to find a way of getting the Knight family out of her pub, and when she stumbles across a secret she believes she may have hit the jackpot.
When Linda overhears George talking on the phone, she learns that he has not yet sold his bar in Marbella, meaning that he doesn’t have the money to support the Vic accounts, like he’d promised to.
Furious, she orders him out of the Queen Vic, but her instructions are soon forgotten as the punters become swept up in his sudden proposal of marriage to Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thrope).
Unsure of whether or not to accept, Elaine confides in Linda, who urges her to kick him to the curb.
She claims that he is a gold-digger and Elaine would be better off without him.
As Elaine and George discuss their future, Linda makes a discovery about George’s bar in Marbella and realises that he is hiding something.
She believes that what she has found is a game-changer, and could be just the thing to drive him out of the Vic and her mother’s life for good.
Soon, she confronts him, but will everything go to plan?
Linda will stop at nothing to dig up dirt on George, but just how far will she go, and what more will she uncover?
