Host commentator

37′: Damsgaard beats Lukic for pace on the edge of the box and he’s brought down. This is Damsgaard territory, but Toney and Mbeumo are there too…

Everyone steps away, it’ll be Toney. He hits the post! My my.

35′: Brentford are struggling to get out on the counter attack here with Tete back to mop up a ball towards Wissa this time.

It’s one-way traffic, but Fulham are yet to find the back of the net. Brentford have Not too much more to report.

32′: Tete crosses again by Raya claims.

Just before that Mitrovic had peeled onto Henry for a cross but Pereira couldn’t find him. That’s the play.

29′: Brentford break and Toney plays the ball to Wissa off what I believe was his back! Maybe a bit lower.

Fulham come forward again though. If they keep this pressure up one feels they will score soon.

26′: Ream cuts out a through ball as Wissa looks to run in behind.

Willian goes down under challenge from Toney… and he’s booked for diving! Great call from Taylor there.

25′: Another cross in from Tete, Pinnock heads away this time. He and Mee will do that all night.

But Mitrovic may have something to say about that. he’s invovled in the build-up as Fulham come again.

73 per cent possession for Fulham in the last 10 minutes according to Sky.

22′: Marco Silva is getting a talking to from Anthony Taylor. He’s angry.

Tete’s cross is blocked by Wissa as Fulham start to settle into a more dominant position with the ball.

William’s cross is in, by Mee heads away.

18′: Diop gets a talking to after tripping Toney. next one will be a yellow I reckon.

Jensen is tripped by Reed on the edge of the box. Think he’s taken a blow to the head actually. Good area this.

Mbeumo takes and Leno is stuck to the ground. It’s so close! Off the outside of the post!

13′: Toney and Diop get into a bit of a scuffle as Brentford try to come forward but Anthony Taylor tells them both to get up.

Fulham are enjoying a bit more possession now. Though Damsgaard tries to play through Wissa, but Tete gets back first.

10′: A cross in from Tete as Fulham come forward for the first time and he finds the head of Mitrovic, but his header is up rather than at goal and Raya eventually gathers.

Electric stuff.

8′: It’s been an absolute lightening start from Brentford and they’ve got the goal they deserve.

The corner is cleared away as far as Hickey, who does well to get he ball under control. He passes into Pinnock on the edge of the box, who shoots and scores via a deflection from Ream.

Massively, massively deserved.

7′: The pressure pays off!

6′: It’s all Brentford here. Mbeumo breaks on the right and gets another shot away, with Leno saving with his feet.

Hickey’s cross is then cleared, and a Brentford corner is put in…

5′: It should be 1-0 Brentford!

It’s great play. Rico Henry is fed the ball down the left and he crosses first time on the volley.

It’s across goal to Mbeumo, who simply has to score, five yards out, unmarked, but he fires high and wide. It was easier  to score

4′: There’s a bit of a snapshot from Toney from distance and Leno has to get down to save.

Ream then heads away the resulting cross. Good start from the hosts.

2′: An early free-kick for Brentford as Diop brings down Norgaard. The long ball is for Toney, but Tete heads out for a throw in front of him.

The cross comes in, and it’s headed away by Ream.

1′: We’re underway in West London!

The teams are on their ways out at the Gtech. It’s time!

Just five minutes to go until kick-off then and we’re awaiting the teams at the Gtech.

Hard one to predict. May the best team win.

The warm-ups are well underway at Brentford ahead of kick-off in 15 minutes.

Great to see the Her Game Too shirts from Fulham. A lot of Brentford players are wearing them too.

Jamie Carragher and Karen Carney have been full of praise for both sides on Sky

Carragher said: ‘I think you can see both managers’ imprints on these teams. I love listening to them speak. Brentford have only lost four games, in the best league in world football, that’s some ratio. The two of them can be really proud of what they’ve done but they want to finish it off.’

Carney added: ‘Both have been brilliant, defensively really solid, they’ve got a really good chance. Both clubs have had a similar journey, they’re in the hunt, seventh could give you that opportunity so why not go for it? In the Championship they were both dominating possession. You expect those numbers to drop in the Premier League, but what’s been most impressive for me is the way they’ve adapted.’

Good stuff. Tonight promises to be such an exciting game.

The scene is set in West London with players and fans starting to arrive.

It look a bit wet.

Joao Palhinha is absent for Fulham tonight, starting a two-game suspension.

He was booked against Wolves last week, his 10th yellow of the season.

He’ll be such a big miss for Marco Silva’s side. His stats are up there with the best in the league.

Sasa Lukic is the one tasked with replacing him tonight.

Three changes from Fulham from the draw with Wolves last week.

Aleksandar Mitrovic is fit to start up front in place of Carlos Vinicius, while Manor Solomon is in for Bobby Decordova-Reid.

In midfield, Sasa Lukic is in for Joao Palhinha.

Just one change for Brentford from their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace two weeks ago, as Mikkel Damsgaard replaces Josh Dasilva in midfield.

Leno, Tete, Diop, Ream, Robinson, Reed, Lukic, Pereira, Willian, Solomon, Mitrovic.

Subs, Rodak, Wickens, Soares, Adarabioyo, Harris, Wilson, James, Decordova-Reid, Vinicius.

The derby XI. 💚#BREFUL

Raya, Hickey, Pinnock, Mee, Henry, Norgaard, Jensen, Damsgaard, Wissa, Mbeumo, Toney.

Subs: Cox, Shade, Dasilva, Onyeka, Jansson, Ajer, Baptiste, Janelt, Roerslev.

Fulham themselves are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions, beating Leeds 2-0 in the FA Cup last time out.

In the Premier League they drew 1-1 with Wolves last weekend, but will be without a key player tonight. Will come onto that after the team news.

Thomas Frank’s side haven’t lost since October in the Premier League, when they were humbled 4-0 by Aston Villa.

In that time they’ve clocked six draws and five wins – including against Man City and Liverpool.

They’re a different animal at home, too.

They’ve managed six wins and just one defeat at the Gtech Community Stadium this term, with just two wins from 11 away.

This may be a London derby but there’s a lot more to the game tonight than just that.

Both sides are flying high in the Premier League this season, both sitting comfy in the top half, and have their eyes on the European spots.

Fulham could unbelievably overtake Newcastle tonight and go fifth in the table. Fifth!

Brentford, meanwhile, are looking to continue their impressive unbeaten run in the league, which now spans 11 games.
