Coronation Street newcomer Amy Robbins recently made her debut as Christine and is no doubt ready to wreak havoc on the cobbles.
The actress, 51, is no stranger to soap land and has starred in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Holby City, Doctors and Casualty, but her role as Daisy Midgeley's mother marks her first time in Weatherfield.
Discussing her new role on Wednesday's instalment of Lorraine, the soap star spoke about the vital piece of advice her brother, Ted Robbins, gave her before she started filming.
The comedian, 67, starred as Brendan Finch in the ITV soap for one year in 2015 and warned his sister about approaching co-stars on set.
Amy told the Scottish presenter: "He said if you're fortunate enough to meet Bill Roache, don't call him Ken Barlow. Because that's what he did and then he tried to rectify it by calling him Mr Barlow."
She revealed that her brother also said: "Don't underestimate how you're going to feel when you walk into the pub, The Rovers."
