I was a legendary campmate on I’m A Celebrity and here’s everything you are BANNED from taking into camp | The Sun

FORMER I'm a Celebrity star Gillian McKeith has revealed everything campmates are banned from taking into the jungle with them.

Viewers previously watched as the current I'm a Celeb contestants were each given one luxury item, with Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver opting for eight-hour cream.

But Gillian, 63, has claimed that the famous faces aren't allowed to take anything with them when they enter camp.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, she said: "You can’t take anything in, nothing.

"They provide, soap, toothpaste… You can’t take your own tweezers in. You aren’t permitted anything.

"You are briefed about rules beforehand, although people do try and sneak things in.

Gillian starred in the 2010 series and recently finished filming the All Stars edition, set to air next year.

You Are What You Eat star Gillian caused a stir during her first time on the show.

She fainted twice during trials but was called out over her "theatrics" after viewers spotted her pulling down her top while supposedly unconscious.

And Gillian has also revealed something the campmates never discuss – their fees.

She said: "Never, ever did we talk about the money.

"Everybody gets their own fee depending on what you have managed to negotiate.

"The higher the fee for the more watchable they think you will be. In the time I was there, I never heard the money discussed."

But Gillian added: "We all know the reason why everyone does it is obviously for the money."
