EastEnders spoilers see Alfie shooting horror, Amy discovery and brutal attack

Emotions are running high in Albert Square as some intense scenes are set to hit EastEnders next week.

Sam struggles to bond with Ricky who ignores her after she failed to make it to one of his events at school.

In an attempt to build bridges with her son, the Mitchell sister tries to bag an invite to Amy's belated birthday, but Denise makes it clear she's not welcome.

Amy struggles after she ends up arguing with Nugget, Denzel and Lily about the rumours swirling about her and brushes Denzel off when he tries to make amends.

Determined to score a dinner invite, Sam uses her old set of keys to get inside the Branning house but is shocked at what she sees when she walks in on Amy.

Sam approaches Jack in the toilets at Amy's birthday dinner and tells him what she found, but the pair realise Amy overheard it all.

After Patrick gives some words of wisdom to a struggling Denzel, Howie reveals he wishes he could reach his son like Patrick can.

Jack is dealt a blow when Amy tells him to stay out of her life, as Denise begs him to tread more carefully around his daughter.

Jack and Denise go to Amy's school to talk to a teacher about Amy's problems, but Jack later becomes fixated on Denzel and wants to know if Amy's changed since he arrived.

In The Vic, Jack confronts Howie and demands Denzel stays away from Amy, leading to a heated confrontation as Jack punches Howie just as Denise and Kim walk in.

Jack lashes out during a failed attempt from Denise to calm him down, making it clear that Amy is his daughter and not hers.

With the internet down, Patrick and Howie convince Denzel to play dominoes to pass the time, where the conversation soon turns to Amy.

The mood is broken after Kim storms in and turns the router back on, causing Denzel to realise he had been tricked.

After reassuring Kat that he's got everything under control at home, Alfie challenges the boys to guess the code to Phil's safe, and together they work it out.

They find wads of cash inside, but Sam turns up and Alfie hurries the boys to put the money back.

Later, Alfie is juggling problems at the cab office but needs to get to the shops to buy Tommy a zombie video game.

When Mitch's cab breaks down, Alfie drives Vi to bingo instead and has just enough time to get to the game shop, but that’s when a masked gunman jumps into his cab.

Keith, the masked gunman, has just robbed a building society and demands that Alfie be his getaway driver.

However, Alfie takes a risk and drives to the shop to get Tommy's game anyway.

Shortly after, Stacey calls and reveals the Moon boys have told her all about what they found inside the safe, causing Keith to take notice.

Upon hearing the safe contains £30k, Keith orders Alfie, at gunpoint, to take him to Phil's place.

Back at no 55, Alfie tells Tommy about Phil's missing money and is amused when Tommy offers to sort it out for him.

Alfie tries to persuade Mick to invest in a food festival, but he declines, and so does Bobby.

Elsewhere, Finlay and Felix are determined to throw a party while Chelsea is away, but Whitney is initially not convinced.

When the boys promise to do all the cleaning up and slip in that Zack is looking for love, Whitney has a change of heart.

Whitney gets glammed up and eagerly awaits Zack's arrival to the party, but is disheartened when he arrives with another girl.

Not understanding Whitney's reaction to his arrival, Felix gives him a heads up about the situation.

After Finlay consoles her with a pep talk, Whitney moves in for a kiss.

The next day, Zack becomes frustrated that Whitney doesn't seem bothered about him.

Whitney heads to The Albert with Felix and Finlay, who convince her not to give up on looking for love.

When Zack arrives and makes an attempt to win her over, she agrees to go for a drink with him at The Vic.
