Come Dine With Me viewers rage show has 'had its day' as they bombard Channel 4 with complaints | The Sun

COME Dine With viewers were left raging before the latest episode had even started airing.

Livid fans took to Twitter after watching a recent episode of the Channel 4 culinary reality show claiming the show isn't what it used to be.

Many viewers felt that the original series used to be more entertaining, and the new series has "run it's days" and "deteriorated tenfold".

Taking to Twitter viewers shared their complaints about the programme.

One underwhelmed viewer said: "Remember years ago when a good cook got marked down because he got the man who supplied his wine to "pop in" and boast about his famous customers. He got points deducted for being a showoff. I miss those days. #comedinewithme"

Another unimpressed viewer wrote: "Sorry to be a whinging old bag but this show has really run its day. Yes, before I get attacked I know I don’t HAVE to watch it, I stupidly choose to. Its deteriorated tenfold which is such a shame as it used to be a really good show #comedinewithme."

A third viewer agreed: "Fully agree. I don't want people saying they have not cooked this before, or fancy dress or an unspoken competition to be the "character".

This comes after Come Dine with Me fans were not happy with one contestant at the latest dinner party during last week's episode.

The Channel 4 programme was in Manchester for the opening dinner party of the week where it was fishmonger Hayley welcoming the group together for the first time at her underwater, nautical themed party.

Viewers didn't seem impressed with the theme of fancy dress and bashed the episode on social media.
