I've fallen for a woman 20 years younger than me who doesn't speak English | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: I’VE fallen in love again with a woman 20 years younger than me, who doesn’t speak English.

She was visiting her sick father when I was in hospital after falling ill on holiday in Spain.

This lady was so caring for her father and she would visit him every day.

He was 86 and sadly passed away.

I’m 71 and was in the next bed to her dad. We used to talk using my iPad to translate.

She’s Spanish and told me she is 51.

I have now been discharged from hospital but checked into a hotel so that I could see her more.

I’ve now come back to the UK but I’m missing her so much.

I’m thinking of moving out to Spain but is it crazy at my age?

DEIDRE SAYS: Not necessarily but if everything was perfect, you wouldn’t have written to me.

Rather than moving lock, stock and barrel to Spain, have some long weekends over there or rent a place, so that you can slowly get a sense if this relationship might last.
