IT'S one of the products that's gone viral amid the cost of living crisis.
And after seeing loads of people nabbing the heated airer from Aldi, Gem decided to get herself one to try out.
She took to TikTok to share an unboxing of the £39.99 airer, before videoing her first attempts of drying clothes on the product.
The airer comes with a blue plastic cover to put over the top, and Gem tried both with and without it – after someone said that it causes condensation because of its material.
"You know when you really want something to be as good as it’s hyped up to be?" she said in another video on her TikTok page.
"This is how I feel with the airer."

Showing the washing on the airer, she said: "Everything’s dry at the top as I expected.
"Someone else also said that it leaves bar marks on your dry clothes.
"This hasn’t left a bar mark but you can see where it’s been on the bar, so it’s not a mark, it’s just that obviously you’d have to iron that out.
"You can see where the bottom bit is still damp and the middle bit is dry.

"It doesn’t look like it’s going to be any different from a normal airer."
Gem added she was planning to give the airer one more try with another wash with the cover on, so that she could offer up a "fair review".
But she acknowledged that the people taking to her comments section had vastly differing opinions about the effectiveness of the airer.
"It was a bit like Marmite – either you loved it or you didn’t love it – it was a mixed bunch of comments," she said.
"Some said it was really rubbish, some said they loved it.
"I’m not sure yet, I’m not decided."

Gem also said she'd heard rumours that the number on the airer box – which states that it costs 7p an hour to run – is actually a misprint and it's 47p an hour to run.
"If that's true it's definitely not worth it," she said, insisting she'd rather pay the extra and get her clothes dry in the tumble dryer.
