PnB Rocks Murder Case Under Serious Investigation as Cops Believe It Could Be Planned Execution
Previously, investigators stated that a social media post published by the late rapper’s girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang ‘may have’ actually led to the tragic shooting.
AceShowbiz -As the investigation into PnB Rock‘s murder last week in Los Angeles moves forward, police are continuing to explore all potential leads. Now, the authorities are reportedly convinced that the incident may not have been a random robbery.
TMZ reported on Wednesday, September 21 that the Los Angeles Police Department is looking into past beefs the Philadelphia native had that may have been a factor in his murder. While it was initially believed robbery was the motive, police sources told the outlet that any past issues the late 30-year-old rap star may have had are being examined as well, with his ties to Atlanta being looked at.
Police are reportedly even combing through PnB Rock’s lyrics to find any clues that may lead to something solid. They are still trying to track down the vehicle the suspect(s) used to flee the scene as well.
LAPD Chief Michel Moore previously announced at least two assailants were involved in the tragic shooting which happened on Monday, September 12 at 1:15 P.M. “We do believe that there are a minimum of two of them. One was driving the vehicle, letting off his passenger, and that passenger went into the store, into the restaurant,” he said.
In the meantime, LAPD Captain Kelly Muniz explained that when the suspected shooters entered the Roscoe’s, they immediately pulled out a firearm and demanded jewelry from PnB Rock. When he refused, they shot the rapper multiple times. The “Selfish” hitmaker was pronounced dead at around 1:29 P.M. after he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
While there are no known suspects, some people online believed that PnB Rock’s girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang was involved after she made social posts about their location at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant in Inglewood right before the murder happened.
Last week, investigators also stated a social media post published by Stephanie might have led to PnB Rock’s death. “The target was expensive jewelry, property that he had on his person. We believe this senseless murder occurred following a posting on Instagram or social media,” Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said. But now, cops have officially ruled her out as a suspect.
