Love Island's Tasha reveals how close she is to being a millionaire after signing six figure deals | The Sun

LOVE Island star Tasha Ghouri has revealed she’s well on her way to becoming a millionaire just two months after leaving the show.

The model has signed numerous big figure brand deals in the weeks since – but despite that, she hasn’t spent a penny.

Asked if her bank account is now boasting a million, Tasha – who has just launched a shoe collection with Simmi, laughed:  “I wouldn’t say yet.”

Even though she’s certainly earning more than pre villa life, the star – who coupled up with Andrew – is playing it very safe.

She told us: “I haven’t treated myself yet, I have been treating myself to takeaways if that counts.

“I want to be sensible and save my money, I want a future, I want my own home. I might treat myself to a little handbag and some shoes.”

Explaining how she keeps on top of it, Tasha continued:  “I have an accountant, it’s the same accountant I had before.

“It’s been so helpful because coming out you have the urge to just splash out but I  think I am quite straight headed.

“My dad is the same. He is very strong on like ‘Tasha  you are going to regret it further down the line if you spend it all at once’ . I have good people around me to make sure I am maintaining my money.”

Since being on the show, Tasha made history as the first Islander not to sign with a fast fashion brand opting to work with ebay instead.

She also signed a lucrative six figure deal to become the face of L'Oreal and now Simmi, which she says has been “amazing” and “very organic.”

Tasha insists she isn’t motivated by the cash though, saying: “I am not motivated by money at all. For me, money is not my happiness. My happiness is working with people I want to work with and brands that make sense to me.

“I say to my management that I don’t care about money, all I care about is if it makes sense and I am passionate about it. I don’t want to pick something because of how much I am getting paid.

“I want to be genuinely happy and to be happy you have to be passionate about what you want to do.”

And working with Simmi seems to be making her very happy indeed.

Discussing the process and the collection, Tasha revealed: “I loved their shoes and wore them in the villa.

“I went in thinking I want this collection to be about a statement heel or shoe. When I walked in there were certain shoes that grabbed my attention straight away and I went for the unique style. I think with my style I am very bold so these are not basic, they are very unique.

“When you look at this shoe collection you will think ‘this girl likes to stand out’. These shoes scream me, they have my name written all over them.”
