Love Island's Paige Thorne has told fans she is returning to her "normal" job as a paramedic for selected shifts after the show ended in the summer.

The 25-year-old is reportedly working on brand collaborations like her fellow ITV2 reality stars Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 28, and Gemma Owen, 19, the daughter of former England footballer Michael Owen

During a recent Instagram Q&A with her fans, Paige, posted a few snaps of her in uniform, saying: "Going back on a bank basis which means I can pick and choose shifts that suit me. Can't wait."

Paige's plans for a return to work come after she and Love Island boyfriend Adam Collard, 26, reportedly flew to Italy for a holiday.

She and Adam came fifth in the long-running dating competition, which was won this year by Ekin-Su and Davide Sanclimenti.

Paige and Adam started off in the capital Rome and visited a number of landmarks including the Colosseum and the Altar of the Fatherland.

When they stopped off in Milan the couple reportedly went to go and see Duomo di Milano, the city's cathedral church, and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a shopping centre.

Adam captioned a post: "Just a couple days of the good life in Rome & Milan.."

It comes after Paige admitted that ITV producers spoke to her to make her give Adam a chance during her time on the show.

Speaking on FUBAR Radio with hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng, Paige said: "I was like, well, if he was like that then what is he doing in here? He's just going to be a little s**t stirrer. I was going off."

But the 24-year-old got pulled to one side by producers of the show, who recommended she should give Adam a try.

Paige explained: "I was like, because of what the girls have been saying.

"I don't need to have a chat with him to know there's not going to be a difference, and they were like no, be open-minded and just talk to him and give him a chance."

Eventually she did, and they quickly became an item and are still going strong now.
