Who is Adam Collard on Love Island? | The Sun

THE Geordie hunk has been dumped from the Love Island villa – just one day before the 2022 final.

But who is Adam Collard? Here's everything you need to know about the 2022 Islander, both in and outside of the villa.

Who is Adam Collard?

Adam Collard was born on October 26, 1995 and comes from Newcastle.

He is a personal trainer and gym director, working at Aurora Athletic and has remained in this job since finishing the show back in 2018.

His antics on season four of Love Island earned him the reputation as a bad boy and serial dater.

Often he is remembered as the first contestant to strip naked in his season of the show.

Before Love Island, Adam also briefly appeared in season 12 of Geordie Shore.

After his last stint on the show, he and Islander Zara McDermott continued to date – before ending their relationship after eight months.

The Geordie opened up with Zara about how he had been bullied as a child for his appearance.

Adam said: "I had a bit of a right time in school with people…. got picked on and stuff like that.

Why is Adam Collard back on Love Island?

The fitness trainer returned once again to find love.

Adam is the first person ever to return to the villa on a whole new season, perhaps things will be different for him the second time round.

A show source said: “Adam genuinely wants to see if he can find love.

“He and Zara dated for eight months after leaving the villa and while that didn’t work out, he trusts the process.

“For this year’s Islanders, the whole concept will be totally mindblowing – not only is Adam gorgeous but he knows how the show works – if any of the girls really are in there for money and fame not love, Adam will suss them out.

“This is going to cause fireworks.”

And his return definitely caused fireworks after he coupled up with islander Paige Thorne following the shock departure of Jacques O'Neill.

But the couple were voted off the show just one day before the final – after their fellow islanders decided they were the least compatible couple.

When was Adam Collard last on Love Island?

Adam's first outing to the villa was back in 2018 on season four when he was 22 years old.

He entered as part of a twist where he could steal the girlfriend from another lad.

In this case he chose to date Kendall who he ditched a week later for Rosie.

Adam stuck with Rosie until day 20 when Zara walked in as a new girl, the pair coupled up until they were forcibly split.

Returning from Casa Amor on day 30, Adam was coupled with Darylle but split from her when he was dumped three days later.

He came 17th overall in that season.

What has Adam Collard been doing since Love Island?

Adam works as a personal trainer, which he did before the show, and now sells a course of one-on-one fitness sessions for £700.

Thanks to his time on the show, Adam also has built a following on OnlyFans where you can subscribe for a monthly fee.

Despite their separation on the show, Adam and Zara rekindled their flame after leaving Love Island.

But their picture-perfect relationship didn't last long after leaving the famous villa and the pair split for good.

While Zara has settled down with Made In Chelsea charmer Sam Thompson, Adam is still single.

He briefly dated beauty influencer Sarah Godfrey, going public in September 2019, but the pair called time in January 2020.
