Liberty Poole transforms back garden into Love Island villa

Former Love Island contestant Liberty Poole has given herself a real blast from the past as she transformed her own back garden into the iconic Love Island villa.

The 22 year old stunner, who appeared on the show in 2021, shared a short video of her garden transformation on Instagram, as she partnered with online department store Very to recreate the stylish look.

Taking her style cues from this year’s villa, Birmingham-born Liberty revealed how she had been able to recreate all of the most iconic and memorable parts of this year’s villa without needing to splash out for a trip to Majorca to copy the look.

Starting off her transformation, the former Islander opted to add a pop of colour to her outdoor decking by adding two pink beanbags to the wooden surface alongside her very own fire pit.

While this particular unit didn’t come with dose of the villa fire pit drama we’ve seen unfolding on screen, it did provide a chic focal point to entertain friends throughout the summer.

She then progressed to add a brand new outdoor seating area, in a fetching taupe brown, complete with stone coloured cushions, and statement yellow throw pillows.

To help beat the heat and provide a little shade, Liberty then opted to install a large circular sun-bed in her garden, complete with pull over canopy to help provide a little sun coverage.

The stylish day bed looked almost identical to those seen in the villa and typically serves a prime lounging spot for the couples to get together and have a relaxed chat after a long day.

No villa inspired garden would be complete without a few signature cocktails, and Liberty’s was no exception as she posed alongside a tray of margarita glasses filled with a delicious fruity tipple.

Serving up the cocktails in her very own tiki bar, the young star kept the Island vibe alive as she decorated the wooden surround with a selection of neon signs, very reminiscent of this year’s show.

Opting for a pair of designs, a flamingo and a watermelon, the DIY bar definitely channelled the Island aesthetic viewers at home have been falling in love with.

And in one further nod to the show, Liberty also unveiled an iconic Love Island water bottle complete with name personalisation etched up the side in a signature cursive pink font.

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
