Four-bedroom home goes on the market for less than £60,000 – but everyone's saying the same thing | The Sun

A PERIOD farmhouse with four bedrooms is on sale for under £60,000 – but the pictures are freaking people out.

Agents boast the 150-year-old property has "lots of space and wonderful wood floors", but warn it is being "sold as is".

Some viewers say they have an uneasy feeling about it, and not because of the required renovations.

A Reddit post highlighting the listing jokes: "It's totally not haunted. What a steal!"

It adds of the kitchen: "The holes in the ceiling really tie this room together. Appliances included!"

The Reddit post suggests it looks like the setting for a horror movie.

Under a photo of the landing, it adds: "As you walk through the upstairs hall, you may begin to hear suspenseful background music or a horror string. Is a jump scare coming? We'll never tell!"

And referencing another creepy pic, it says: "Did the wall explode??"

The photo appears to show a large hole next to a dormer window, and a mystery liquid on the floor.

One reply in the comments asks: "I would really like to see it but what in the actual hell happened to this poor thing?"

Another comment says: "It looked like it was a very pretty little house at some point. But decades of neglect and bare-bones improvements leave their mark."

The house is for sale in Enosburg, Vermont, with a list price of $69,900 (around £58,800).

It sits in a quarter of a acre, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms are spread over 2,338 sq ft of living space.

But the pictures show holes in the roof and some areas of missing tiles apparently patched up with corrugated iron or plastic.

Inside, there are holes in the ceilings and floors and mould on walls.

The agent says: "Great opportunity to own your own home with a potential for an in-law apartment.
