GOGGLEBOX favourite Pete Sandiford inisists he can't afford to give up his job as a roofer, despite his TV fame.
The dad-of-one, from Blackpool, has been making telly fans laugh alongside his sister Sophie for five years.
Even though they're now household names, the Channel 4 programme's rate of £1,500-a-month isn't enough to live off.
Speaking to The Sun at the Tric Awards, Pete, 27, said: "We just saw Eammon Holmes. I am just a builder from Blackpool, so it is a bit strange when celebrities know us. I was on a roof yesterday."
When asked if he'd consider giving up his job, he said: "I have got to pay my mortgage somehow."
And he's not interested in trying his hand at another reality show, saying: "No, nothing beats sitting on the sofa."

Eamonn Holmes was a winner on the night, bagging the News Presenter of the Year award.
He issued a warning to GMB in the winners' room, saying: "We're coming for you."
He also hit out at former employer ITV, branding it the "ministry of lies", after his axing from This Morning last year.
Meanwhile Pete is married to wife Paige and they have a baby son called Jimmy.
