If you, too, were personally victimized by the Duffy Brothers introducing us to the legend that is Joseph Quinn, aka Freddie Munson, for the first time only in the penultimate season of Stranger Things, then prepare to keep getting your feelings hurt on this fine Thursday afternoon.
Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers on the hit Netflix show, put Doja Cat on absolute b-l-a-s-t by sharing a series of fortunate events for her after she reached out for intel on Joseph. Take a look at the clip below, but be warned @ Freddie Munson stans: You might wanna break out the Kleenex for this one.

The vid starts with a Doja Cat and Stranger Things fan pointing out to the “Woman” singer on Twitter how “fine Joseph Quinn is.” Doja obviously cosigns, saying, “it’s fucking criminal.” Iconic.
V important sidenote: Let! The! Records! Also! Show! this isn’t the first time Doja has tweeted about the actor. She’s clearly playing the long game here and I, for one, am not mad about it in the slightest.
joseph quinn fine as shit
But I digress! So, after all this, Doja then decided to rope in Noah as an accomplice in shooting her shot. Luckily for us nosies, Noah showed alllll the receipts. Their exchange went a bit like this: Doja respectfully asked whether or not Joseph had a girlfriend, Noah gave his blessing and told her to “slide into his dms,” and then, he proceeded to send Joseph’s Instagram account. Obsessed!
Earlier this year, Joseph confessed to Vulture that his social media presence is kiiiind of lacking. “I don’t have TikTok,” he admitted. “I have an Instagram account managed by a friend.” Something tells me that because Doja has the power of Noah’s viral TikTok and the classic co-star stamp of approval on her side, the English actor will definitely be seeing whatever epic message she decides to send his way.
Though Doja’s love is definitely a big win, Joseph has a lot of other things he’s currently celebrating. After all, he’s quickly ballooned in popularity following his role in the Stranger Things franchise—most notably in one of the scenes from the season four finale where his character, Eddie Munson, plays Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” to distract a horde of bats. The scene was so lauded that it was even noticed by the band itself.
“We were all stoked to see the final result, and when we did, we were totally blown away,” Metallica wrote on Instagram. “It’s so extremely well done, so much so, that some folks were able to guess the song just by seeing a few seconds of Joseph Quinn’s hands in the trailer!! How crazy cool is that?”
Between two icons giving him all the praise and attention, Joseph is definitely winning right now. Go off, bestie!
