Congratulations are in order for EastEnders star Louisa Lytton and Ben Bhanvra – as they’ve finally got married!
The Ruby Allen actress and her fiancé spent time in Italy for the ceremony, but June/July 2022 was not the intended period for the couple’s wedding.
Due to the pandemic, Coronavirus and Louisa’s pregnancy, the big day was postponed three times.
Last year, Louisa and Ben revealed during an appearance on Loose Women that they chose to delay the wedding because of the pandemic and the fact Louisa was also pregnant.
‘Yeah, we’ve cancelled the wedding,’ she said, laughing.
‘Basically I said to Ben, let’s start trying, it doesn’t look like the wedding’s happening, and then we fell pregnant and now officially our wedding could go ahead.
‘But it’s too late now, so… it’s all gone out the window. But it’s fine!’
Most recently, flying to Italy was put on hold as the family fell ill with Coronavirus – but they got there in the end!
Confirming the wedding had been a success, Louisa posted on her Instagram and wrote: ‘Wedding done, honeymoon activated. Just trying to navigate a 10-month-old in 40-degree heat!’.
The series of pictures include Louisa showing off her ring beside Ben, their baby daughter Aura and the family enjoying the Italian food and drink.
Louisa and Ben have been together since 2017, getting engaged while on holiday in the Maldives in 2019.
Earlier this year, Louisa admitted she isn’t sure if she’ll return to EastEnders as Ruby Allen, due to family life currently being her priority.
Yeah, I’m not sure at the moment, everything is sort of up in the air’, the actress told The Sun.
‘Not sure at the moment, I just don’t know. Now that I’ve had a baby, that’s the priority.’
