Emmerdale star Joanne Mitchell has reflected on the "difficulty" of returning to the ITV soap as she reprises the role of Sandra Flaherty, Liv's mum.
Sandra was last seen on-screen at the caravan park where she was living when Liv – deep in an alcoholic spiral – ran off to stay with her.
But she's hardly been there for Liv throughout her struggles, and her return could only spell danger for Liv and Vinny's new marriage.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press of her return, Sandra star Joanne explained that she is now used to being "backwards and forwards" in Soapland, reprising and leaving the role of Sandra.
She said: "It's great, actually – obviously I've been backwards and forwards a few times over the years.
"It's always been really good fun because it’s a great character to play, and it’s brilliant playing against and with [Isobel Steele] who plays Liv. Before, nearly all of my work was with her and Danny Miller [Aaron Dingle] – so this time it’s going to be great because I get to expand and work with other members of the cast."
She added: "It’s just seeing a few more layers to Sandra’s character, developing her a bit more, and seeing where the journey goes. I think it’ll be really good – I’m really pleased to be back. It’s a great bunch of people to work with."
And on the difficulty of slipping back into the role, Joanne said it was hardly an issue.
She giggled: "I suppose she is so different from me – at least I hope so, anyway! Obviously the costume – I would just not wear what she wears.
"But there are so many different elements of her, it didn’t feel too difficult to get back into her – though I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing!
"No, I think it’s written really well so it’s nice that it’s easy to slip back into."

She added: "It’s a great character. I’ve only been there for two years in this block, this time around, but it just feels really exciting.
"Sandra is just car crash, it could go anywhere with her. She’s a bad 'un, she really is."
The star continued that being a semi-regular member of the cast also feels exciting, as she explained: "It’s really nice. Each time she’s got a little bit more to do, there’s a couple of months with the cast and with the programme.
"I don’t know where it’s going yet, but it’s certainly really really interesting and I think the audience will be… they’re not going to like her, that’s for sure. But she’s a good baddie, and it’s nice to be able to explore that a bit more, with more time."
