Lara Saget honored her late dad, Bob Saget, in an emotional Father’s Day post.

“My dad wasn’t just my dad, he was my best friend,” Lara, 32, captioned a throwback photo shared to Instagram on Sunday.

“He wore his heart. He didn’t hide it; he wasn’t afraid of love. My dad simply wanted to share laughter and love with this world.”

Lara acknowledged that it’s “scary” to “love that big” like her dad did, especially when it can be “easier to be angry, fearful, negative.”

“My dad taught me that it doesn’t matter what life throws, how hard, how painful, how seemingly impossible,” she continued.

“It doesn’t stop that love. He chose love, always.”

Lara concluded her tribute post by telling her followers that she wants to “commit” to loving people the same way Bob did.

“The love is right here,” she wrote. “And it’s my responsibility to give it to myself and to share by living in the love. I love you infinitely, dad. Happy Father’s Day.”

The “Full House” star was found dead in his room at the Orlando, Fla., Ritz-Carlton on Jan. 9. One month later, an autopsy revealed he died after an unspecified trauma to his head.

Bob’s daughter took some time after his death before making a public statement about his “unconditional love.”

“My dad loved with everything he had,” she wrote via Instagram on Jan. 27. “He had so many reasons to be scared to love. Many loved ones kept dropping the body.”

She added, “Love completely and be kind. Of all the lessons he taught me, these feel the biggest. With love ❤️”

Bob shared three daughters – Lara, Aubrey, 35, and Jennifer, 29 – with his first wife and high school sweetheart Sherri Kramer.

They divorced in 1997, and Saget eventually remarried to Kelly Rizzo in October 2018.
