Davide Sanclimenti not afraid to ‘break up Love Island couples’ in the villa

Love Island hunk Davide Sanclimenti said he's prepared to break up a couple in the villa if he fancies them enough.

The self-professed Italian stallion is part of this year's Love Island cast – which includes Gemma Owen, the daughter of ex-footballer Michael Owen.

He moved from Rome to Manchester three years ago and didn't know any English – but he now runs a small shisha business called S Deluxe Shisha.

The sexy singleton spoke to Daily Star's Sam Huntley and other press before he entered the villa for this year's series – which returns 9pm Monday June 6 on ITV2.

Asked if he'd consider breaking up a Love Island couple to get what he wanted, Davide confirmed he would, but if the lady was really his type he would pursue her "straight away".

He said: "Yeah, but if I believe if someone is really my type I will go [for it] straight away. I don’t expect to see her couple with someone else."

The Italian added that the girl likely wouldn't be the one for him if she can't choose between him and another guy.

He added: Who is meant to be for me will be for me, so if a girl is really jumping between me and another guy it is probably not the love of my life.”

The gym-honed hunk said he wouldn't rule out having sex in the sunny Mallorca villa if met the right person and the right attraction was there.

But he insisted he would abstain from racy bedroom business if he met someone he really liked, so they could enjoy their first time outside of the TV show.

Davide said: "This is something that I cannot plan. It depends on the person that is put in front of me because one side of me would think to save the sex for outside the villa if I really like the person, I probably want to use our first time [outside]. I want to create magic."

"But at the same time if you really feel attracted. If the attraction is from both sides and you both don’t mind then it will probably happen, so we’ll see about this."

Davide opened up about his dating history and revealed he's only had two serious relationships – one in Italy and one in Manchester.

He described himself as "family oriented" so hopes to meet a lady who 'matches his expectations'.

Revealing what qualities he'll bring to the show, Davide said the English girls "won't be able to resist" his Italian charm.

The singleton said: "Naturally I am also good looking so I believe the English girls won’t be able to resist me and my Italian charm.

"Apart from this it’s going to be fun, I’m going to bring my unique personality. I’m really looking forward to it."

Love Island returns 9pm Monday June 6 on ITV and ITVHub.
