BGT's Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden in tense conversation moments before going on air

BRITAIN'S Got Talent stars Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were seen having a tense conversation moments before going on air.

The judges – who are close friends away from the cameras – were snapped outside The Hammersmith Apollo before the live show on Thursday.

Alesha looked strained as she had a discussion with Amanda before they went on air.

It's unknown what the intense moment was about, but the pals were all smiles as they got back to work.

It was another dramatic semi-final last night as Simon Cowell made an on-air apology after his criticism left a girl in TEARS.

The tough judge, 62, gave some firm feedback to magic act Matricks Illusion.
