MORE easyJet passengers are facing delayed flights and difficulty trying to get home after hundreds of flights were cancelled yesterday.
Thousands of passengers were plunged into chaos after an IT system failure caused all easyJet planes to be grounded.
Another 11 flights have been cancelled this morning, while the hundreds cancelled yesterday have had an ongoing effect today, with more than 30,000 passengers affected.
Passengers at Gatwick Airport complained that they faced missing their flights due to waiting hours at security, while many others havebeen stranded abroad.
One woman wrote: "My mum is stranded in Dalaman airport. Explain why at the airport there is no staff?
"A failure in a computer doesn’t mean staff stop working does it? Hasn’t the multi million pound company got a few biros to pass around?"

Another mum said: "Flight cancelled as we were about to board with 3 children. Communication from easyJet zero.
"No staff at airport, no one answers calls and website down. You have ruined a once in a lifetime holiday."
A third said: "How the hell can you guys sleep at night while abandoned and alone my 80 year old brother and his wife are left to find their own way home from Egypit and until they can find their own hotel."
Lots of families said they had been devastaed as they had to miss their holidays, some losing thousands of pounds.

One dad tweeted: "Flight cancelled at the gate. @easyJet no one to speak to. Just a leaflet handed to us. Holiday cancelled as no further flights available for over a week. 2 very upset children Thousands of pounds potentially lost."
Another person said they had to pay £900 for alternative flights with British Airways after their flight was cancelled.
A statement from easyJet said: "easyJet can confirm that the earlier IT systems issues have now been rectified.
"Unfortunately, they resulted in some cancellations earlier today and while we expect to operate most of our remaining flying programme some may still be subject to some disruption in the coming hours."
The airline added: "We advise customers due to travel with us to continue to check Flight Tracker for the status of their flight before making their way to the airport.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused and customers can apply for compensation in line with regulations."
The airline initially claimed the situation was "extraordinary circumstance" so passengers wouldn't be able to claim compensation, but later confirmed this was sent in error.

On Sunday, EasyJet were forced to cancel a number of flights to and from Belfast and Faro, with at least 26 affected to and from London Gatwick.
One woman said her daughter had been left in tears while others said they were stranded overnight at the airport.
