See Teen Mom kids' craziest hair makeovers from Aubree DeBoer's BLUE locks to Bentley Edwards' mini mullet

When it comes to Teen Mom’s craziest hairstyles, it seems to be like mother, like daughter and son.

The reality stars have had their fair share of wild hair phases over the years, from crazy colors to blunt chops.

After over a decade on TV, the young moms have changed their hairstyles many times, some of which to the surprise of their dedicated fandom.

And the moms have a way to pass their unique styles down to their children – often with varying results and levels of acceptance.

Last month, Chelsea Houska's 12-year-old daughter Aubree got a shocking new hair makeover, with some help from her mom’s BFF, Chelsey Grace.

Chelsey shared a few snaps from their day together, with the first one of them standing outside a house, giving each other hugs and smiling big.

“Girls day,” she captioned the shot.

The third and final shot featured Aubree wearing a smock to protect her clothing as Chelsey worked on her hair.

Aubree gave a huge smile as blue coloring could be seen throughout the scalp and parting of her wet hair.

Meanwhile, Chelsey’s mouth was wide open in joy as she showed off that her hands were stained blue from coloring the 12-year-old’s hair.

Maci Bookout's now teenage son hasn't just grown rapidly in height. He's also grown rapidly in hair – especially in the back.

The 13-year-old was proud to show off his mullet during a photo session with his mother last year.

In the photos, Bentley, who is almost as tall as his reality mom, squeezed her tight and even picked her up in his arms.

Maci captioned the snaps with parts of the conversation of the day: "Photographer: 'Oh this looks beautiful! He’s almost bigger than you Maci!'

"Also Photographer: 'Bentley can you pick your mom up yet?'

"Bentley: 'Well yeah, just make sure you get the mullet.'"

Fans in the comments section praised the young man, and his hair.

“What a character, he sure loves his mullet eh, lol," one fan shared. "He is such a fine young man, y’all raised him well. Beautiful pictures."

Fans weren't as supporting of Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham, after she let her daughter Sophia dye her hair bright purple at the end of 2021.

Sophia, 13, showed off her new purple streaks in a TikTok video.

The clip started off with the MTV star wearing a black robe, as her hair originally had red streaks.

After bouncing up and down, the teen teased her new wavy hairstyle and wardrobe.

Farrah, 30, appeared in the short vid as well, appearing with a towel wrapped over her head.

On her Instagram, Sophia shared the clip and cheered: "Purple is here!"

Fans appeared to be divided between praising Sophia for her new look and slamming Farrah for allowing her daughter to make a big change on herself.

One angry fan mentioned that Farrrah's daughter was "growing up way too fast."

Another noted: "Poor kid is going to need so much therapy."

Kailyn Lowry had fans seeing red when she allowed her young sons Isaac and Lincoln to color their hair in 2020.

The star had taken her two sons to get their hair dyed as salons started to open following the coronavirus pandemic.

Kailyn, 30, shared on Instagram two pictures of her sons Isaac and Lincoln after they had gotten their hair dyed and bleached.

She first shared the picture of Isaac who now had flaming red side-swept hair.

The 12-year-old poked his tongue out in the photo as he looked happy with the results.

Little brother Lincoln, 8, smiled in another photo, showing off some brightly bleached locks of his own.

Despite how happy they all looked, fans quickly shammed the star for having dyed her young sons' hair.

One Redditer wrote: "Does anyone actually believe that her kids asked for this? Because I don't.

"Not saying she forced them, but I don't think they said 'Hey mom, can we dye our hair?'"

While another one clapped at the Teen Mom star and said: "Imagine thinking that vaccines are harmful for your child but then you go and BLEACH YOUR CHILDS HAIR. omg."

Jenelle Evans' young boy had the poor misfortune of a hair coloring gone wrong – forcing a follow up touch up.

In June, 2021, Jenelle, 30, gave fans a look at her preteen son's hair after an attempt to dye it purple failed.

Jenelle took to social media and filmed her 12-year-old son after she accidentally turned his brown locks yellow.

The former reality star had previously explained how Jace had intended to color his hair purple on the advice of a friend.

"Jace, look at me," she said, as her son sat at the table with his hair slicked back and covered in colorant.

"So Jace wants purple hair, y'all," she went on to explain.

A second clip showed Jace and his hair after he had washed the dye out.

Jenelle could be heard saying: "Dude, look at how yellow it is."

Reassuring her son, the mom of three added: "That's okay. We're going to fix it, right?"

Smiling, Jace replied: "Yep."
