Why isn't The Chase on ITV tonight, May 16?

THE Chase has long been a staple of early evening telly in Britain.

But fans tuning in tonight (May 16, 2022) will be surprised to see that the ITV quiz show isn't on.

Why isn't The Chase on ITV tonight?

The Chase usually kicks off every weeknight at 5pm on ITV.

But this evening (May 16, 2022) the quiz show isn't on because spin off show Beat the Chasers is on ITV later on tonight.

Instead at 5pm you can watch Adil Ray's quiz show, Lingo, which will replace The Chase all week.

Lingo sees three teams of two contestants compete against each other to fill in the blanks and find words.
