Rebel Wilson puts her gym-honed figure on show in slinky green frock
Rebel Wilson looked absolutely sensational as she attended the screening and reception for her new Netflix comedy movie, Senior Year.
The talented Australian actress, who was recently pictured enjoying a sunny LA hike, stepped out in style at The London West Hollywood in Beverly Hills on Tuesday evening.
Oozing Hollywood glamour, the 42 year old looked virtually unrecognisable as she slipped into a slinky green showstopping dress for the occasion.
The stunning dress commanded attention with its boasted a plunging bardot neckline, and the comedienne kept the rest of her accessories to a minimum while standing tall in sparkling stiletto heels.
Rebel, who sported an immaculate beachy blowdry, looked like she was in her element as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.
In her new movie Senior Year, Rebel stars as a cheerleader to ends up in a twenty-year coma after a cheerleading stunt goes horribly wrong.
Upon waking up from the coma at the age of 37, she returns to high school to live out her dream of becoming prom queen.
Sharing behind the scenes snaps from filming the movie, Rebel wrote on Instagram: "SENIOR YEAR comes out THIS WEEKEND on NETFLIX and it will bring so much CHEER!"
On the personal side, the Pitch Perfect star has maintained a healthier lifestyle over the last two years after promising herself to stay on track with her fitness regime.
She aimed by the end of 2020 to reach a target weight of 75kg – which she achieved – and has continued to keep hiking as a form of working out, letting her followers in on her exercise sessions along the way.
Rebel often gives updates on Instagram on her gym visits as well as her latest hikes, which she takes in Australia and America – both countries she currently splits her time between.
As well as a fitness regime, Rebel has also attributed her weight loss to switching up her diet considerably, stripping her once "heavy carb" intake.
"Before, I was probably eating 3,000 calories most days, and because they were normally carbs, I would still be hungry," Rebel told People magazine.
"So, I've really changed to eating a high-protein diet, which is challenging because I didn't used to eat a lot of meat. I eat fish, salmon, and chicken breast."
