Emmerdale star Charley Webb on verge of tears after family pet keeps her up all night

She's got a two-year-old son who doesn't always sleep through the night.

But it wasn't little Ace who kept former Emmerdale star Charley Webb, 34, from her beauty sleep on Monday – but the family's noisy hamster.

The Debbie Dingle actress shared a picture to her Instagram story of her frustrated face with her hand over it.

The mother-of-three updated her 562k followers: “This is not a joke. The hamster has kept me awake all night. WHAT THE HELL?

“I thought I could hear some sort of high pitch alarm, got up. It was the bl***y hamsters wheel squeaking. Ace slept through, hamster did not."

Charley later told fans that if one more person told her that hamsters were nocturnal she would 'sob.'

She posted a picture of her tracksuit bottoms and slippers saying: "“This will be me, all day.

"“If one more person tells me they’re nocturnal, I think I’ll sob.”

Charley left the ITV soap over a year ago to have her third child Ace, and has since only returned for ten weeks to complete a storyline.

She announced this during a series of question and answers on her Instagram story.

Posting a photo of herself with husband and three children she said: "“This is always my most asked question but I’ve never answered it before because I’ve never wanted to make a big deal of it

“I left to have Ace 2 years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it’s been a year.

"I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn’t.”

The actress shares her home with co-star Matthew Wolfenden and their three beautiful children Buster, 11, Bowie, six, and Ace, two.

Recently the soaps former star announced two new projects she is filming over the summer after her Emmerdale exit.

She posted a picture on Instagram saying: "Costume fitting today for my new job I’m excited for the next 2 projects I'm filming over the summer and to get back on screen."
