Family-run businesses are nothing new – but would you consider following in a relative’s footsteps to join the adult industry?
That’s exactly what one mum did when she realised how much money her daughter was making on OnlyFans.
Evie Leana, 37, decided to make an account on the saucy subscription site after her teenager Tiahnee joined at 18.
The 19-year-old model racked up $100,000 AUD (around £56,000) in her first year alone.
So when Evie went through a break-up with her last boyfriend, she quit her job as a beautician and signed up to OnlyFans.
The mum describes the dramatic career change as the "best decision" she could have made.
On Instagram, Evie wrote: “When my daughter came to me just before her 18th birthday and told me she planned to start an OnlyFans once she turned 18 I was very against it. We argued for sometime.
“She went ahead and did it against my wishes once she turned 18 and made over $100,000” in her first year.
“I adjusted to it after a while and began to accept her decision.
“I think people make assumptions that if girls do this work, they have little respect for themselves or that they’re promiscuous.
“Unfortunately some will always judge but in Tiahnee’s case they couldn't be more wrong.”
Evie continued: “My daughter has more self respect, more self love and confidence than most women I know.
“She has always been sure of herself and her decision making and is highly intelligent.
“I’ve always taught my daughters to love the skin they’re in, to be confident and not to pay any mind to what other people think as long as they’re trusting their gut and making choices that feel right to them.
“We are very open and discuss everything together.”
Despite being hesitant about OnlyFans initially, Evie was persuaded to give it a go.
She explained: “After I split with my boyfriend my daughter suggested I should start one too.
“Honestly it didn’t take that much convincing. I was excited about the idea and I’ve had a lot of fun with it.
“It has been well and truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, being a single mum to four children and raising them solely on my own has been challenging.
“I’ve reached the Top 1% of creators world wide and it’s only just begun.”

While some assume selling racy content on OnlyFans is easy, Evie admitted she can be “up until 2am making content”.
But despite this, has no regrets about signing up.
It’s given her more financial security and made it easier to provide for her family.
The mum also aims for 2022 to be a year of “adventure” and has jetted off on holidays recently.
She added: “We’re very excited to see what the future holds.”
