FANS need to wait no more as McDonald's has revealed that its Christmas menu is back for 2021.
Here we explain when it starts and what seasonal specials are on offer.
When does McDonald's Christmas menu start?
McDonald's have confirmed that new menu items will be available in UK restaurants from November 17.
Hungry diners will have six weeks to bag the treats, in line with other limited edition items.
The Christmas menu specials will therefore be taken off the menu on December 28, 2021.
What's on the McDonald's Christmas menu?
There are eight new items on the Christmas menu:
- Festive Crispy Chicken – £4.89 on its own, £6.39 as a meal
- Festive Stack – £4.89 on its own, £6.39 as a meal
- Cheese Melt Dippers – £1.89
- Cheese Melt Dippers Sharebox – £5.09
- Celebrations McFlurry – £1.49 for regular, 99p for mini
- Festive Pie – £1.19
- Choco Fudge Latte – £1.79 for regular, £2.09 for large
- Hot Chocolate Deluxe – £1.39
McDonald's is introducing a new festive crispy chicken, a festive stack burger as well as bringing back cheese melt dippers.
The new festive crispy chicken is a chicken breast fillet with cranberry sauce, sage and onion mayo, bacon, red onion, lettuce, and cheddar cheese.
It will cost £4.89 on its own or £6.39 as part of a meal – although prices will vary across the country.
However, fans of the Chicken Legend will be disappointed as it's been temporarily axed from the menu until January to make way for the Christmas version.
Meanwhile, the festive stack includes two beef patties with red onion relish, white cheese sauce, bacon, crispy onions, red onion, lettuce and cheddar cheese.
McDonald's has also added some sweet treats to the menu, including the Celebrations McFlurry and a festive pie.
How do I find my nearest McDonald's?
If you're planning on taking a trip to McDonald's, you'll want to know where your nearest branch is.
The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.
Bear in mind that McDonald's serves breakfast every day from 6am onwards until 11am.
After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.
Some fast-food fans can get a McDonald’s Big Mac and fries for £1.99 every time – and it’s totally legit.
After temporarily running out earlier this year, McDonald's favourite milkshakes are back on the menu too.
We taste test the new McDonald's McPlant burger – and it tastes just like a quarter pounder with cheese.
