How to update your iPhone to the latest operating system

Updating an iPhone is just as straightforward, but people need to keep their phone connected to power.

Users need to open the “settings” tab, then click on “general” and “software update”.

They may have more than one option available, from which they can pick and choose or install together.

Apple iPhones also come with an option to allow automatic updates.

People can find this option by revisiting the “software update” tab in their settings.

They can turn on automatic updates by tapping on the option found there and selecting the “download iOS updates” and “install iOS updates” switches.

Clicking these will allow automatic updates, but some changes may still require manual installation.
