Stacey Solomon ‘totally deserts’ fiancé Joe Swash after family arguments: ‘I’m done!’

Stacey Solomon jokes she’s ‘deserted’ Joe Swash and the boys

Stacey Solomon, 31, has revealed she took the opportunity to be by herself this evening after dealing with family arguments all day. The Loose Women presenter admitted she had “totally deserted” her fiancé Joe Swash, 39, who was left looking after their one-year-old son Rex and her two older sons from previous relationships, Leighton, eight, and Zachary, 12.

It comes after Stacey informed her four million Instagram followers that she was “done” and had decided to leave her brood to their own devices, as she was in serious need of a relaxing evening.

Stacey previously shared that she had spent “the whole morning arguing with the boys” while trying to homeschool them due to the coronavirus lockdown.

She penned alongside a pretty video of yesterday’s snow day: “The sun is shining and our snow is melting…

“This is a video from yesterday down by the stream it’s making me smile but the truth is that I’ve spent the whole morning arguing with the boys.

“None of them wanted to get up and log on to Teams and when they moan the baby moans because he thinks ‘Well I don’t want to be the only one in the room not moaning’.”

She added of her homeschooling struggles: “I miss not arguing with the boys…

“I take my hat off to every person in education right now.

“Unable to properly engage with their pupils and being fired questions at 3 billion times a day all at once through a screen you’re amazing.”

Later on in the afternoon, Stacey attempted to get away from the bickering by organising her pan cupboard.

Posting one of her famous Tap to Tidy Instagram stories, the star wrote: “I’m putting this on here so that later tonight when I’m all argued out and I feel like I’ve achieved nothing… I can remind myself of this small victory.”

After Stacey was done with teaching her sons for the day, she gave in on her rules about how much they can use their PlayStations.

The mum-of-three divulged: “And now I’ve let the boys go on their PlayStations for as long as they want.

“I’m done!” She giggled in a video.

Sharing her plans for the rest of the night, Stacey added: “And now I’m going to build this table sofa thingy that I’ve had for about 10 years and I’m going to have a cup of tea on it.”

Stacey then revealed she had managed to escape into another room to enjoy her dinner in peace on her newly assembled table, abandoning Joe with her boys in the process.

She giggled: “I’m only eating my dinner on it!

“I’ve totally deserted poor Joe and the boys and it’s just me, my burger and Bridgerton.

“Happy Monday!” The star concluded as she tuned into the hit Netflix series.

Stacey previously gave fans an insight into another lockdown blunder she suffered recently.

Secretly filming her husband-to-be, Joe could be heard saying he was “excited” about his birthday.

In the clip, Stacey pretended she hadn’t forgotten his big day, and told him it’ll be a “good” one complete with a “surprise”.

Captioning the video, she wrote: “Omg biggest bombshell ever. This lockdown has made me lose track of EVERYTHING. I completely forgot it’s Joe’s birthday tomorrow.

“I’ve instantly muted him from my stories and I’m on Amazon as we speak.”
