Taking to Instagram, the fan in question shared the sponge on her Instagram grid while showing fans how to make clothes smell great.
She takes Lenor’s ‘Calm’ lavender and camomile and then takes minky sponges and places them each separately into a plastic container.
Next, you soak the sponges in the fabric conditioner (two caps) and then cover them with some hot water – do make sure you’ve got rubber gloves on to make sure you take caution with the hot water.

Next, you use your fingers to push down the sponges to make sure everything has been absorbed, before turning the sponge over.
And once this is done, you place the lid back on the plastic box et voila, the sponges are ready to be used!
Oh and, side note, you can use any fabric conditioner of your choosing, it doesn’t have to be Calm by Lenor.

You can still use fabric conditioner in the washing machine too, as well as on your sponges, the hack-sharer said.
She also suggests wringing out the sponge slightly before putting it in the washing machine.
The woman’s savvy hack comes after another fan of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch found a secret compartment in her washing machine.
Photos of the compartment were shared on the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It, which is a forum for sharing cleaning tips and tricks inspired my cleaning sensation and social media star Mrs Hinch.
In the snap we can clearly see a small credit card-sized slot, and when the cleaning enthusiast looked further she found a small plastic device that slots in and out.
Posting on the page, the woman wrote: "Did anyone else know this, I have only found out that that’s where it goes when you’re not using it."
The washing machine is made by Hotpoint, and the compartment is apparently to help measure out powder of washing liquid so none at all goes to waste.

One wrote: "I found this out the other week and I couldn’t believe it.
“I just kept it in the liquid draw for ages and always wondered why my washer wasn’t working as it should!”
