Laura Hamilton, 38, who has recently been away filming A Place In The Sun in Greece, revealed she, her two children, Rocco, six and Tahlia, five, and husband Alex Goddard were returning home after five weeks away. She also spoke out about the “ups and downs” they have been through this year. It comes after the property presenter told fans about a family loss earlier this month.
Lots of ups and downs.
Alongside a selfie of herself and her son, Rocco, Laura decided to discuss the year she has had via Instagram.
In view of her 92,000 followers, the mother-of-two penned: “After 5 weeks of working abroad and travelling with my family, it is time to go home…
“There have been lots of ups and downs, and whilst 2020 has been a cr***y year for everyone, we have to stay positive for our little ones.
“They are the future.”
The Channel 4 personality explained: “I tell my children everyday how lucky we are to have each other…
“I tell them they must be kind, polite, treat others how they expect to be treated, be grateful and happy. It is the only way.”
One fan commented: “Thank you for sharing your time away, it’s been a real treat looking at your pics, safe home xx.”
Another remarked: “Safe journey home Laura loved seeing all your photos while you have been working and with your family x.”
It comes just days after Laura admitted she was still feeling “emotional” after she informed her followers she was mourning over her late grandfather.
Beside the photo, the presenter wrote: “Feeling emotional. Be grateful for every second of every day you get to spend with the people you love.
“Life is so very precious… #reflecting #pops #memorial #family #love #grandfather #moments.”
Laura had previously opened up about how the sudden loss of her grandad was “not easy” to process while she was away with her husband and children.

“Pops was 89. He was an incredible man… Hardworking, kind, supportive and loving with a sparky, ‘can do’ attitude and a great personality,” she shared.
“As his eldest granddaughter, I had a very special bond with him.”
Laura went on to reflect: “And although travelling through my job meant I didn’t get to see him as regularly as I would have like when I did see him I always gave him a pedicure, massaged his legs and feet. He even let me give him a haircut after lockdown!”
She added: “I loved looking after him. Losing someone you love is never easy, and I appreciate that a lot of people have lost loved ones over the last few months.”
Laura flew out to Spain with her family so she could film new episodes of the hit property show.
However, just after landing, she was informed that she and her loved ones would have to quarantine when they return to the UK.
While she and Alex were planning on spending six weeks at their Marbella home and their kids would be attending a school summer camp, their trip had to be cut short.
As a result, they headed to Greece to continue their trip.
