If you’re looking for a bedding upgrade, look no further. Mellanni’s sheets on Amazon are practically internet-famous. With a major cult following and more than 53,000 five-star reviews, these sheets are an affordable must-have in your home.
If you love hotel-quality sheet sets but don’t want to pay an average of $150 for high-end options, Mellanni’s brushed microfiber sheets are a top pick when it comes to silky-soft sheets. Just take it from the statistics we received from the brand: The sheets are so popular, they are sold 100,000 times per month.
While these sheets have been a best-selling staple on Amazon for years, the company recently introduced a new style to its collection. You can now shop the Mellanni sheets in an extra deep-pocket version.
The re-design was specifically made for mattresses sized 17–21 inches and is suitable for double pillow-top mattresses, beds with toppers, air mattresses, waterbed mattresses and even adjustable beds.
The newest deep-pocket sets recently sold out in only five days on Amazon, but luckily they’re back in stock.
Shop: Mellanni Extra Deep-Pocket Sheet Set, $39.97–$44.97
In the set, you’ll receive one flat sheet, one fitted sheet and two pillowcases. Plus, Mellanni’s Signature Z-fold technology guarantees that the elastic edging around the fitted sheet will always stay in place.
And because microfiber is more durable than cotton, you’ll be pleased to know that these sheets are fade, stain, shrink, pill and wrinkle-resistant if you wash in cold water.
As you’re shopping, the price varies depending on the size of the mattress. The extra deep-pocket full and queen sets are $39.97 while the king and California king sets are $44.97. And one of the best parts about Mellanni’s sheets is the fact that they come in 33 different colors and patterns. However, the colors may be limited for the new deep-pocket sets.
Whether they’re for college students who need cheap alternatives or for those looking to upgrade each bed in their home, reviewers can’t stop raving about these sheets.
“Holy sheet, what a surprise,” one reviewer said. “I have a hard time finding sheets I like. They tend to be too rough for me. But these sheets were perfect and half the price of the cheapest ones I had [already] tried.”
While the sheets are given four stars in softness, comfort, wrinkle-resistance and stain-resistance, the biggest complaint from customers about the original version was that they would slip off overnight. Now, with the deep-pocket versions, that shouldn’t be an issue.
“The deep pockets of the fitted sheet swallowed my pillow-top mattress, with seemingly enough room for another mattress,” another customer said. “Over the past few months and several washings, the sheets still look brand new, with no appreciable change except for an increasing softness.”
While these lightweight sheets are great for summer, some shoppers pointed out they might be a little too thin for some people’s liking and called them out for “subpar quality.”
“I didn’t expect thick hotel quality sheets for this price, so I don’t mind the thinness,” One reviewer noted. “But I was pleasantly surprised at how soft they were. I don’t think these will last a year in regular rotation being they are so thin.”
But if you’ve been struggling to find a sheet set for taller mattresses that stays in place, these sheets are your (affordable!) best bet.
