Pixie Lott, will.i.am and Danny Jones were joined by new coach Paloma Faith this evening as The Voice Kids returned to ITV. The four coaches kicked off the show in the usual fashion by performing a rendition of Guns N Roses’ Sweet Child O’ Mine and viewers couldn’t help but be distracted by Pixie’s appearance as she sang her heart out in a glitzy ball gown.

The Voice Kids started off a little differently than fans expected with four mini-me coaches performing on stage.

Pixie, will, Danny and Paloma were all missing from the line-up and had been replaced by kid versions of themselves.

As the Guns N Roses track got into full swing, the kids made their way to the infamous red chairs and the real coaches arrived on stage.

Pixie’s mini-me wore a nude sparkly dress and the coach popped up on stage in a strapless nude ball gown adorned with pearl beading while on stage.

The singer matched the dress with block-heeled sandals, diamond drop earrings and a jewelled tiara.

Later, when the auditions began, Pixie had changed into a white trouser suit and fans weren’t impressed with the change.

ITV viewers flocked to Twitter to praise Pixie’s glitzy outfit and remark it was a “shame” she changed into a different outfit.

One shared: “Pixie Lott is just, flawless.. #TheVoiceKids,” while a second wrote: “Pixie looks stunning #TheVoiceKidsUK.”

“Shame Pixie’s outfit changed. That first one was amazing! #TheVoiceKidsUK,” a third added.

However, one viewer wasn’t completely impressed by her opening outfit and said: “Whose brilliant idea was it to pair those shoes with Pixie Lott’s lovely dress, such a no-no #thevoicekids.”
