Katie Price, Lydia Bright and Piers Morgan venture outside as they enjoy easing of lockdown rules

Overjoyed that several coronavirus lockdown restrictions have been lifted after three and a half months in isolation, celebrities have ditched their homes to venture outside.

Boris Johnson announced earlier this week that he would be easing the lockdown rules by allowing pubs, restaurants and hairdressers to reopen and accommodate more than 30 people at a time, on the understanding that strict social distancing measures would be observed.

Speaking at a press conference at Downing Street, he urged the UK public to behave sensibly and explained that he would not “hesitate” to reintroduce lockdown restrictions if need be.

In light of this, TV stars including Katie Price, Lucy Mecklenburgh and Love Island stars Paige Turley and her beau Finn Tapp have gone out to meet friends, get their hair done and enjoy a meal at a restaurant or two.

Here’s what they got up to…

Katie Price met up with her new beau Love Island star Carl Woods for a date at Sheesh Chigwell.

Speaking to the owner of the restaurant, Katie said that he introduced them before adding: "I’ve been waiting for my prince charming and you found my prince charming."

New mum Lydia Bright couldn’t help but go out to a bar with her sister Georgia.

Wearing a leopard print dress teamed with a black coat and matching hat, she wrote: "First visit to a bar in a year & a half".

Diva Gemma Collins hopped into a classy black van as she headed toward Sloane Street for a fun-filled day of shopping.

The star went to Gucci amongst other stores in the Chelsea area and even got treated to a glass of Champagne.

Happy to finally be able to reopen his London restaurants, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay headed to one of his locations with his son Oscar.

The star gave a little tour of his kitchen as he referred to his one year old son as his sous-chef.

Lucy Mecklenburgh couldn’t help but spend her Saturday at the hairdressers as the star thanked stylist Claire Healey for the touch up.

Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan enjoyed a cup of coffee at Cafe Phillies before heading to his hairdressers to tame his mane.

Sharing a snap of himself, he wrote: "Lovely warm welcome back at my hair salon after 4 months…. Fortunately, after having me shot, @cherylmunozhair performed her usual magic & restored my head to vaguely camera-ready status.

"Thanks Cheryl & all your wonderful staff at @danielgalvinldn Kensington." alongside a thumbs up emoji.

Love Island winners Paige Turley and Finn Tapp got dressed up for a date as they headed to BLVD in Manchester.

While there, they enjoyed cocktails and delicious-looking food before running into their pal Demi Jones.

Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle Lloyd took a luxurious car to London for a day of shopping.

Taking a break from looking at clothes at Harrods, the star was joined by a pal for a quick bite to eat at Harry’s Dolce Vita.

Francesca Allen headed down to her family-run pub for it’s reopening after Boris Johnson’s announcement.

"All the family back behind the bar again," she said as she toured around the place.

Love Island’s Amber Gill opted to go to her local hairdressers to get her braided in preparation for her trip to Ibiza with pals Arabella Chi and Harley Brash.

Georgia Steel left the comfort of her own home to get a facial as she told her followers: "First facial in months and wow I feel like a brand new women," [sic] alongside a white heart emoji.

Pete Wicks and James Locks met up with a pal as they enjoyed glasses of wine at their local pub.

Sharing a snap together on his Instagram Stories, Pete wrote: "We go…" with a devil emoji.

Kady McDermott met up with her sister Kirsty to enjoy a refreshing cocktail on 4 July.
