WHAZE showed some promise on debut at Saint Cloud 16 days ago. He steps up in distance here which looks a wise move and he should improve enough to score.
ULTRAMARINE has had a couple of starts and improved on her Bordeaux debut with a solid third at Deauville latest. She doesn’t need a lot more to get off the mark.
ZIEGFELD is bred to be a champion and gave a hint of his clear talent when winning here on debut in July. That was over seven furlongs but, being a son of Derby winner New Approach, this trip and further should suit as he gets older.
Natural Path has done nothing wrong so far with two good wins. He should relish this distance too and warrants this step up in class.
Nat King struggled in Listed class last time but has a fitness edge and could be a danger over a trip that already suits.
Icatcher is another who was poor on comeback but may have needed it, while Young Man is another going up in class.
VINTERN caught the eye on debut at Deauville way back in July. She was supported in the market before running a solid fourth, trying to make all. Given that Andre Fabre’s horses have started to show positive signs, this daughter of Frankel looks the one to beat.
Kloster was thrown into a Listed race at Longchamp for his debut earlier this month and did well to finish a closing sixth. There should be more to come.
Merci Pour Tout was just two lengths away here in October and can figure if fit enough.
Cap Skirring is another with more to offer.
It’s hard to get away from SPINNING MEMORIES who stormed home to win a Listed contest at Longchamp earlier this month. That was over this trip and she can take the next step.
Devil has a Grade 3 on his CV and looked to need the comeback in a hot contest 17 days ago. His weight allowance could make the difference.
Stunning Spirit won a big race in Qatar but was poor at Chantilly ten days ago. That could have just been a blip and he’s a threat over an ideal distance.
Azano is probably better over a mile but can’t be written off.
ECOLO was consistent last season and signed off with a good second at Fontainebleau over six furlongs. He has no issue seeing out this longer distance and Maxim Guyon continues to fire in the winners.
Tonnencourt has his sights lowered after two good efforts in Listed races. He likes this trip and will be a force if fit enough on this first start in almost eight months.
Midnight Shine didn’t live up to his name when held at Compiegne latest having won there in October. He’s capable of hitting the frame, while Urwald is a Listed winner at his best.
JAAYIZ won a couple of these claimers earlier this year and went close in a much hotter handicap at Saint-Cloud last time. He finished fifth but was less than a length off the winner. A repeat should be good enough with that under his belt.
River Down won a stronger contest at Toulouse 12 days ago. That was over seven furlongs and she has to prove her liking for the mile. If she does she’ll be right there.
Bibi Voice is another dropping in class who likes this course and distance.

TARIDA has not been out of the first two in her past six starts and has gone close in two strong handicaps since scoring at Machecoul in February. She went close over this trip at Longchamp last time and a repeat of that should be good enough.
Chasing Gold beat Tarida in November and looks the main threat again despite a modest effort last time out.
Miss Believe is fit from a close second at Longchamp earlier this month. She has won around here and can’t be ruled out.
Faithfilly Man got the job done in minor company latest. This is much harder but he’s clearly in good heart.
KENDISS really should have turned one of those seconds into a win by now and this looks a cracking She went down in a head-bobber at Cagnes last time and this is no tougher. She saw out the mile well.
Aigueire D’Argent took a step forward when third at Longchamp last time and is a threat over this distance.
Vivi Bonnebouille has few miles on the clock and should be happier dropping back to this distance after a decent run at Chantilly in March.
Jenufa went close at Longchamp earlier this month and should be fitter for that effort.
