Piers Morgan, 55, was back on hand to host Good Morning Britain today alongside co-star Susanna Reid, 49, and they discussed the coronavirus crisis at length. With the ITV programme failing to secure top Conservative ministers to appear on the show over the past few weeks, the presenters did manage to interview MP and Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street, 56, this morning. However, the straight-talking host stil interrupted the politician on several occasions, leaving those at home to brand him “unwatchable” as they didn’t agree with his style of holding the Government to account.

Taking to social media, viewers voiced their dismay at Piers slamming the Government’s response to the coronavirus crisis.
One posted on Twitter: “#gmb @piersmorgan making GMB totally Unwatchable again this morning just won’t let anyone answer a single question. So I turned over to BBC and it’s b***** Rebecca Long Bailey so that’s a big fat NO as well.”
Another added on the micro-blogging site: “#GMB The show shouldn’t be about ‘Piers’ issue with this.”
Whilst a third commented: “#PiersMorgan finally gets his conservative to interview and doesn’t let finish one single question without interrupting him. #sackpiers #GMB @GMB.”
“And so the negative, self-promoting approach of this non-journalist continues. Scaremongering and stirring up. @gmb Confusing the public. #sackpiers #gmb #TuesdayMorning #news #itv #politics #badjournalism,” a fourth opined.
However, not everyone was so riled as a fifth remarked: “Loving @piersmorgan holding this government to account again on #gmb. Keep going and upsetting the Tories and Brexiteer snowflakes.”
