After more than two years of waiting and a week’s delay, DC Universe’s Stargirl is finally here. Luckily, fans met some of the show’s characters in the Arrowerse crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths, in December 2019 but now Stargirl is here with her own series. When is DC’s Stargirl out?
DC’s Stargirl premiered on DC Universe today (Monday, May 18).
Episodes in the superhero drama will air every Monday on DC Universe.
To watch Stargirl on DC Universe, you can subscribe to the streaming service from $7.99 per month.
Stargirl will also air on The CW on Tuesday, May 19 at 8pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) for those who are not DC Universe customers.
Episodes of Stargirl will air every Monday on DC Universe and every Tuesday on The CW and The CW’s streaming platform.
Unfortunately, a UK release date and broadcaster has not yet been confirmed.
Previous DC Universe shows have aired on Channel 4, so Stargirl may follow suit.

Who is in the cast of DC’s Stargirl?
Brec Bassinger stars as Stargirl’s main character Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl.
Courtney Whitmore is a high school sophomore who discovers the powerful cosmic staff, transforming her into the superhero Stargirl.
She then becomes the leader of the new Justice Society of America.
Bassinger is an American actress, best known for her lead role as Bella Dawson on the Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs, her recurring role as Emma in The Haunted Hathaways, and as Roni in the Hulu series All Night.
Yvette Monreal plays Yolanda Montez / Wildcat, Courtney’s friend who becomes a member of the new Justice Society of America.
Monreal is best known for playing Senna Galanin Matafor and Reagan in MTV’s Faking It.
Blade: The Series star Neil Jackson portrays Jordan Mahkent/Icicle, another superhero who is a member of the Injustice Society.
Enlightened’s Luke Wilson joins the cast of Supergirl as Pat Dugan/S.T.R.I.P.E.
Pat Dugan is Courtney’s stepfather and the former sidekick to Starman and member of the new Justice Society of America.
Actress and former fashion model Amy Smart takes on the role of Barbara Whitmore, Courtney’s mother and the wife of superhero sidekick Pat Dugan.
Other cast members include Joel McHale, Henry Thomas, Neil Hopkins, Nelson Lee, Jake Austin Walker, Christoper James Baker and Trae Romano.

What is DC’s Stargirl about?
Stargirl follows the story of Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl (played by Brec Bassinger), who discovers the cosmic staff and became the inspiration for a new generation of superheroes.
Alongside the superheroes Stargirl inspired, they formed the new Justice Society of America.
The series is based on the DC Comics superhero of the same name, created by Geoff Johns and Lee Moder.
The synopsis for Stargirl reads: “Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she moves to Blue Valley, Nebraska and inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past.”

Is there a trailer for DC’s Stargirl?
Yes, there is a trailer for DC Universe’s Stargirl.
The trailer introduces Courtney Whitmore as she moves into a home with her mother and stepfather and starts a brand new school.
Midway through the trailer, Courtney discovered the Cosmic staff and transforms into Stargirl.
Fans have taken to the comment section on YouTube to share their excitement for the new series.
